HEMO pre-hospital hemostatic agent

Coreleader Biotech Co. Ltd.

Hall 5b - D211
Taiwan
HEMO is made of the chitosan fiber extruded in-house and aims at hemostasis only. The fiber is twisted to yarn before knitted into a bandage for packing in a lethal traumatic bleeding case. Given the USAISR protocol, it stops the femoral arterial bleeding in 3 minutes without any dust or residue left to the wound. Hence, no concerns about possible acute or long-term side effects.

Moreover, the knitting structure gives it the best tensile strength among all similar hemostatic agents on the battlefield. It saves the effort to remove debris from the wound upon arriving at the hospital.

Innovation character

1) A woven bandage, hence, gives you higher tensile strength
2) The cat ion chitosan carries can catch erythrocytes through ion exchange. Hence, it does not trigger chemistry responses
3) The knitted fishnet structure helps to catch those erythrocytes. Hence, it forms clots faster than other products.
4) It leaves no dust or debris on the wound, hence, no concerns about long-term risks.

Potential for evolution

Super big as long as war breaks out.

Energetic transition

Unrelated, it is life-saving.
