The ALTA class Royal Norwegian Navy minesweeper has received a significant upgrade to its mine sweeping capabilities following delivery of new technology from Henriksen AS. The ship was being made obsolete by the advances in underwater mines.
The delivery features a complete sweep system that includes power supply, deck handling gear, a new electrical interface, plus all in-water components. The result was to retain the existing ship while bringing it to today’s standard of new and advanced minesweep systems.

Much of the technology used in this delivery is derived from the latest HEMLIS Technology from Henriksen. Technology that pushes the limit for whats possible to achieve with today's technology and mine sweep systems.
