ABT – Compact, direct-drive EMA

ISP SYSTEM

Hall 5b - B54
France
The ABT's mechanical architecture is the result of the interlocking of power chain functions. The result is a compact footprint and an optimized space/power ratio for demanding, short-term applications. The screw is driven in translation by a torque motor controlled with a magnetic encoder. It is equipped with an anti-rotation system and a potentiometric linear sensor for optimum servo-control, thanks to the very short kinematic chain between motor and sensor. DO160-G certification and DAL C electronics and software are expected for this design.

Innovation character

The performance of this product is the result of the combination of two technological building blocks at the cutting edge of innovation: the torque motor and the ABT screw are the result of specific developments. The ABT is therefore a unique model that delivers the performance claimed for its compact size.

Potential for evolution

Under study: a torque limiter adapted to the overall dimensions. Based on permanent magnet technology.
