Used for civilian or military purposes, both as a continuous bridge and a ferry, the P.F.M. allows heavy equipment to cross rivers with a simple and rapid deployment. It consists of 10-meter long modules which, when assembled, form a continuous floating beam. Each module is powered by two outboard motors. On land, the module is transported on a special semi-trailer for deployment and launching. The same type of semi-trailer is used for transporting and setting up the end ramps.
