"Global Link Rescue Aerial Fire Fighting" is a system enabling communication among all stakeholders in an aerial firefighting mission: crisis centers, firefighters, helicopters, and airplanes. It includes on-tablet chat messaging, digital mapping with tactical situation awareness, Blue Force Tracking, and predefined messages: airplanes transmit their flight situation and retrieve ground SITAC data. The portable system operates autonomously via GSM or satellite and is currently used by all civil security aircraft.
